We are very excited to announce that we are now doing our own sandblast work. This is a major step for Granite City Stone. By keeping this portion of the work in-house, we can control our production time and more importantly our quality. We have spent a large portion of 2025 building our facility and installing the necessary equipment.
That is all behind us and now we want to grow our relationships with our customers and provide high quality finished monuments. We are confident our memorials will look great; we have an experienced individual running the operation and he is passionate about sandblasting. Eliminating the need to haul our granite to various locations to have it sandblasted has allowed us to lower our sandblast costs.
